The Basics

What Is JUVELOOK®?

Unlike conventional hyaluronic acid fillers that primarily replace lost volume, JUVELOOK combines Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid (PDLLA) with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid to provide both immediate hydration and long-term collagen stimulation. It's often described as a hybrid biostimulator or hybrid skin booster, rather than a traditional dermal filler, and has expanded into Asia, Europe, Australia, and other aesthetic markets.

Hybrid PDLLA + HA Formulation

85% Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid (PDLLA) with 15% non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Unlike cross-linked HA fillers that mainly occupy space, the PDLLA acts as a scaffold that gradually stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, while the HA component provides an initial hydrating and subtly volumizing effect as the PDLLA delivers progressive skin remodeling.

Patented PDLLA Particle Design

Uniform, spherical PDLLA microspheres with a porous, reticular internal structure give high biocompatibility, predictable biodegradation, and a reduced inflammatory response. The porous structure increases the surface area interacting with surrounding tissue, supporting sustained collagen production.

Our Take

JUVELOOK occupies a unique position between traditional HA fillers and collagen biostimulators such as PLLA-based products. Its hybrid PDLLA + non-cross-linked HA formulation delivers an initial hydrating effect while progressively stimulating collagen production, making it particularly effective for improving skin quality, acne scars, enlarged pores, and subtle volume loss. Compared with conventional HA fillers, the aesthetic changes are more gradual and rely on the body's natural tissue remodeling rather than immediate volumization.
